Ordering and Fulfillment at Land Basket Farm 2025

Allow me to take a minute and clearly explain how ordering works and how you can get our products.

1. Order online using our website.

You must create an account on our website to place an order. We need a cell number, address, and credit card on file.

Choose your method of fulfillment. As part of your account set up, you will be prompted to choose a fulfillment method. There are 3 methods of fulfillment:

a. #1 Order online - Pick Up at the farm. Fastest method – order today, pick up on the farm Saturday. If you need sooner – leave me a note in customer notes or send me a text. Best method for our Morristown Customers OR if you are in an outlying city, need it fast and are willing to make the trip to the farm.

b. #2 Order online - Pick up at the Knoxville farmer’s market. Best Method for our Knoxville, Farragut, Maryville customers. Particularly convenient for those who frequent the Knoxville Farmers Market on Saturdays. Most Popular method.

c. #3 Order online and choose home delivery. We do home delivery to the greater Morristown, Dandridge and Jefferson City area every other Thursday. The website will tell you when the next delivery window is. We may not deliver to your zip code. If the website does not accept your zip code, select farm pick up or farmers market pick up for your method of fulfillment.

Fulfillment - pick up at the Knoxville Farmers Market. Myself of one of the staff will have a booth set up at the market every Saturday. 10-2 in the winter, 9-1 in the summer. We will have you order there.

Other ways to get Land Basket Products

Just Drive up. You are always welcome to just drive up. We frequently fill on the spot orders from local folks who stop in. Who knows where we are on the farm when you stop, so call me when you arrive and we will take care of you.

Come to our booth at the Knoxville Farmers Market. You are always welcome to just stop in at the farmer’s market. The downside to this option is that I may be sold out of what you want.

A Change of Seasons

A Change of Seasons As fall descends upon us with all its glory, leaves of every color fall from the trees and paint the landscape …… the event marks the end of a season well lived and there begins a new season after winter’s rebirth. I recall almost 40 years ago sitting in Botany class learning about how leaves change color and fall from the tree…. The abscission layer – a layer of cells that form in the leaf stem eventually separating the leaf from the life blood of the tree…..& it eventually falls. Losing Cathy almost 2 years ago was my abscission layer - the beginning of an end……… the end of a beautiful season of life. This will be Land Basket Farm’s final season of operation. I will sell this farm this year or next and likely end up in Texas. What will I do ? I will continue to blog & be an advocate for healthier living, I will travel, enjoy the outdoors, run races and be a part of my grandchildren’s lives. Some of you will look upon this event with sadness, but you should not. It is a change in seasons and comes in many forms for all of us. The era of Land Basket Farm will always bring a smile to my face – the work that Cathy and I did together and the people we connected with along the way. I will miss it all. Our Final Season and what to expect We have significant inventory on hand and operations will continue normally through December. Read the newsletters. We will continue attending the Knoxville Market for the rest of this year. Our last market will be December 19. We will not attend the winter market in January, Feb & March. On Farm pick up will be the only fulfillment option in January 2027. I anticipate the website will close ~ Late January depending on sales. We’ll offer more frequent specials this fall.
