This Deposit will be subtracted from the price once the Hog has been Processed. This is not the final price. The deposit is to reserve your pork.

This item is $ 8.00/LB, the estimated final price is between $910 and $1040 and the estimated final weight is between 110 and 130 lbs. Final price determined by final weight. Once item(s) is weighed, seller will charge you final price less deposit. You will receive a receipt for the final charge.

Our pigs are forest raised, moving often to a new patch of woods. In short, our pigs get to express their pigginess. This makes for a high quality of life, which ultimately creates a healthier, tastier product for you and your family.  Our pigs are supplementally fed a corn-based feed and live an antibiotic, and hormone free life.  Whole Hog is sold on the cut and pack weight of $ 8.00 lb. The average 2022 Cut and pack weight was 120 lbs. of packed meat at an average customer price of ~ $ 1000.00. A $200 deposit secures your whole hog. Prior to harvest, I will reach out to you to discuss how you want your hog cut.  

By comparison, our cut and pack weight price of $8.00 is the equivalent of others hanging weight price of $5.00 lb. Remember that you only get about 65% of the hanging weight in actual cuts. When it is all said and done, both sale methods will cost you about the same. We think our method is just more transparent.
