In about 2 cups of broth, add three ingredients: 1/2 cup of chopped celery, 1/2 cup of shredded carrots, 1/2 cup of sautéed onions. Add seasoning - pepper , sage, garlic powder. Let this cook on the stove top for about an hour. Add 1 cup of cream. Cut croissant roll dough into the dumplings, drop them into the simmering/ boiling mixture. They will cook and eventually float. Serve.
