Flowers 3 (Post Op)

I promised you I would keep you informed. This is me keeping my word.

I had my official post appointment this week. I went well. I took my surgery partner and friend Donna to be another set of ears in the room.  Yeah right -- God bless that woman – she was interrogating the surgeon and all his minions ……… it was fun to watch. 

Good friends …. They are awesome.

Anyway - prelims went great – all the PAs came in and wanted to see the recovery of strength in the right arm before Mr surgeon came in. The main PA – said – this is incredible – Dr Killefer will be happy.

I went with the plan to do 2 things –

1) a confessional like he was a priest or something …… “Doc I confess – I have not followed all your guidance on weight restrictions ….. I do run a farm you know….. please forgive me ……….  and

 2) I needed your approval of this great training plan that Chat GPT did for me so I can get back to running. The main goal.

In the end the Doc said - you are on track and I want to Xray you again in Mid-January…  No to your running plan. Let’s make sure we have some bone fusion happening in January and if we do - I will turn your loose. 

I’ll take that.
