They have put a 24 hour sitter on Cathy as of a few days ago – risk of pulling things out – main line in the chest and feed tube – Cathy loves pulling on them.

She has not slept much in the last 2 days ….. and that means no one else has either.  Last night we brought back some pain meds because pain it trying to creep back.

Anyway – she is half in and half out and kind of moans with each breath - a constant rhythm n the room  - it will be a 3rd night of no sleep

So – with Latoya on guard I retreat to the bathroom floor – a few blankets and pillow and my Carhart jacket and life is good. I slept 6 hours and returned to duty around 0300

Not long after a nescafe instant coffee , a young woman comes in   - a PA on the team. Her name is Rachel.

Rachel shows me yet another dragon – Tropinin – a close relative of the kidney dragon.

It will be another long day

Part II - Who is outliving us & why ?

In this installment, I list the top 10 countries and then look at the per capita data on what those populations are eating in 7 areas: Red and White meats, Fish and Seafood, milk and dairy, eggs, vegetables, starches - potatoes and rice. I will compare the USA (#49) vs East Asians (Japan and South Korea and Hong Kong). I will forgo charts on the leading Europeans (Switzerland, Italy and Spain) and summarize summarize their data at the end.
